After Year 2's super hard work this term, Miss Kamel and I thought we would treat the children to an eggxciting afternoon! We began the day by finishing off our 'GREAT writes', which I must say have turned out to be fantastic pieces of writing! After break we had RWI and English, then after lunch in the beautiful sun, the fun began!
We started the afternoon off with Miss Wright's special easter egg hunt! The children loved applying their mathematical skills and knowledge to solve problems, to earn mini chocolate easter eggs! A massive thanks to Miss Willson for helping us set up the hunt! After that, we used our cutting and sticking skills to produce some lovely easter cards! Then we went on to make easter chocolate cakes! What a treat! This was my favourite part!
The children had a lovely time and were really engaged and showed some GREAT school values throughout the afternoon. We wish you all a lovely easter break and I am already looking forward to coming back after the holidays to begin our topic 'Land Ahoy!' were we get to explore and learn all about Pirates and life on the sea!
Have a lovely break and stay safe!
